Lewis House 1997

The house situated in Noosa is dug on one side into the hill creating an acoustic buffer between it and traffic noise of the near by intersection.
The house considts of four pavilions. each with a skillion roof. Clerestory windows of clear corrugated sheeting allow winter sun to penetrate the interiors. Both the interior and exterior walls are clad in plywood, with exposed structuralstuds recalling the structure of old fisherman's houses.
